ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine
Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Angel's Trumpet interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Let me be straight with you: Angel's Trumpet is a poisonous plant, not a real supplement, and there's no safe dose to take. It's packed with scopolamine and atropine, which are strong anticholinergic chemicals. Your Super Cold Tabs already contain chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine that has its own mild anticholinergic action.
Stacking the two could pile up those drying, slowing effects. Realistically that might mean a very dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, trouble urinating, a racing heart, and confusion or even hallucinations. This concern is based on how these chemicals work rather than hard studies, but with a plant this toxic, I wouldn't take the risk. Please skip the Angel's Trumpet entirely and check with your pharmacist or doctor.
