Here's the short version for Nurtec ODT (rimegepant): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear this medication. Some early lab research hints that ashwagandha may speed up that enzyme. If that happened in real life, your body could break down rimegepant a little faster, which could mean it doesn't work quite as well for stopping or preventing your migraines.

I want to be honest about how weak this signal is. It comes only from test-tube studies, not from people, so it may not matter at all in practice. Rimegepant is not a prodrug, so the concern would be reduced benefit rather than more side effects. If you take both and notice your migraine relief slipping, check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
