Your combo pill pairs hydralazine (which relaxes and widens blood vessels) with hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill that helps your body shed extra fluid and salt). Both work to bring your blood pressure down. Here's the thing about Baikal skullcap: in animal studies, one of its compounds, baicalein, appeared to lower blood pressure on its own. So in theory, adding it on top of your medication could push your pressure a little too low.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint, especially when standing up quickly. I want to be honest though, this is based only on lab and animal research, not human studies, so it's far from certain. Still, since you're already treating blood pressure, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting it.
