Here's the simple version: both belladonna and glycopyrrolate work the same way. They each block acetylcholine, the body's signal for things like saliva, sweat, and gut activity. When you stack two of these together, you're essentially doubling down on that same effect, so the anticholinergic actions can pile up.

In real life that could mean a very dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, trouble emptying your bladder, a faster heartbeat, dizziness, or feeling overheated because you're not sweating well. Glycopyrrolate is not a prodrug, so it doesn't get flipped here, belladonna simply adds to its effect rather than weakening it. This concern is based on how these drugs behave (theoretical pharmacology), not hard studies. Belladonna is genuinely risky on its own, so please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Brand names: Robinul, Robinul Forte, Glycopyrrolate Injection, Seebri, Lonhala Magnair Kit, Glyrx-Pf, Dartisla ODT

Qbrexza (glycopyrronium) cloth is used to treat primary axillary hyperhidrosis — a condition where the underarms sweat excessively without a clear medical cause. It is approved for adults and children as young as 9 years old.

Qbrexza is applied directly to the underarm skin and is not approved for sweating on other parts of the body.
