Here's the gist: betony has been thought to gently lower blood pressure on its own. Fosinopril is already doing that job for you, so combining the two could push your blood pressure lower than intended. If that happens, you might feel dizzy or lightheaded, especially when standing up quickly, or notice tiredness, headache, or a faint feeling.

I want to be honest about how solid this is. The concern is theoretical, based on betony's plant compounds rather than real human studies, so it may not amount to much for most people. Still, if you decide to use betony, keep an eye on how you feel and check your blood pressure at home. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before starting it, rather than changing your fosinopril on your own.

Fosinopril Sodium tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). They can be used alone or combined with a water pill (diuretic) when blood pressure needs more control.

Fosinopril Sodium tablets are also used as part of a treatment plan for heart failure, added on top of other standard therapies such as diuretics, with or without digitalis.
