Betony + Indapamide
Indapamide brand names: Lozol, Lozide.
Betony has a moderate interaction with Indapamide. Theoretically, betony might have additive effects with blood pressure lowering drugs due to hypotensive activity of the glycosides found in betony.

ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Indapamide
Indapamide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Betony interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with betony and indapamide: indapamide already lowers your blood pressure by helping your kidneys flush out extra salt and water. Betony contains plant compounds that, in theory, may also nudge blood pressure down a bit. Stacked together, the worry is that your pressure could drop more than intended.
If that happened, you might feel dizzy or lightheaded, especially standing up quickly, or feel unusually tired or weak. I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from how the herb behaves in the lab and from tradition, not from solid human studies, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, since blood pressure is involved, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't change your indapamide on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Indapamide page
“A water pill like indapamide (Lozol) lowers blood pressure and pulls potassium down, and most of the 215 supplements and herbs on file press on those same levers. Thirteen entries rate major, so this is a list to read with real care rather than skim.”

About Betony
What is Betony?
- Headaches and tension
- Anxiety and nervous tension
- Digestive upset
- Sore throat and mouth rinse
- Mild diarrhea
Betony (Stachys officinalis) is a traditional European herb long used for headaches, nervous tension, and digestive complaints. Modern scientific evidence supporting these uses is very limited, and most claims rest on tradition rather than well-designed human studies. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it, and avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
About Indapamide
What Is Indapamide Used For?
Brand names: Lozol, Lozide
Indapamide tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either on their own or together with other blood pressure medications. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of related complications.
Indapamide tablets are also used to treat salt and fluid retention (edema) associated with congestive heart failure. In certain cases, indapamide may also be appropriate during pregnancy when swelling is caused by a medical condition rather than normal pregnancy changes — but routine use in otherwise healthy pregnant women is not recommended.

Indapamide Is Linked to Lower Levels of 8 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Indapamide as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Betony — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
