Amoxicillin Veterinary falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Camphor interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of camphor with other hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage.
There have been a few case reports of transient elevations in liver enzymes in adults after oral or topical use of camphor. There has also been one case of hepatotoxicity in an infant after topical camphor use.

Here's the gist of it. Amoxicillin (the Biomox version is the same drug used in pets) is mostly cleared by the kidneys and isn't activated by your liver, so camphor doesn't speed it up or block it. The concern here is a different one: both camphor and amoxicillin can, in rare cases, put a little extra stress on the liver. Stacking two things that lean on the liver is the theory behind this caution.

Honestly, this is a weak, theoretical worry. It comes from a handful of case reports of mild, temporary liver enzyme bumps. For most people using a camphor rub on the skin, the amount absorbed is tiny and unlikely to matter. Never swallow camphor, and if you notice yellowing skin, dark urine, or belly pain, check with your pharmacist or doctor.
