Here's the gist with this combo. Your medicine, Chardonna-2, contains phenobarbital, which is a well-known booster (an inducer) of a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Dusty Miller contains plant chemicals called pyrrolizidine alkaloids that the liver can turn into harmful, liver-damaging byproducts using that same enzyme. So in theory, the phenobarbital may rev up that enzyme and speed the conversion of Dusty Miller's compounds into more toxic forms, raising the risk of liver injury.

I want to be honest: this concern is theoretical and based only on lab and animal data, so we don't really know how big the risk is in people. That said, Dusty Miller isn't considered safe for self-treatment regardless. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before using any product made from it.
