About Mirabegron

What Is Mirabegron Used For?

Brand name: Myrbetriq

Mirabegron extended-release tablets treat overactive bladder (OAB) in adults — specifically the symptoms of urge urinary incontinence (sudden, urgent leaks), urgency, and frequent urination. They can be used alone or, in the case of Myrbetriq tablets, combined with solifenacin succinate for OAB.

Mirabegron extended-release tablets also treat neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) — a bladder control problem caused by nerve damage — in children aged 3 and older who weigh 35 kg or more. Myrbetriq extended-release oral suspension (granules) treats NDO in children aged 3 and older regardless of weight, including those under 35 kg.
