Here's the idea behind this pairing. Amjevita (adalimumab-atto) is a biologic that works by quieting down part of your immune system, specifically by blocking a messenger called TNF. It's prescribed for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, Crohn's disease, and similar inflammatory problems. Fermented wheat germ extract, on the other hand, has been shown in animal studies to rev up immune activity, which is the opposite of what your medication is trying to do.

So in theory, taking the two together could work against each other and weaken your medication's benefit, meaning your symptoms (joint pain, swelling, flare-ups) might creep back. I want to be honest though: this is purely theoretical and based on lab and animal data, not real patient studies, so the actual risk is uncertain.
