Here's the gist: vortioxetine (Trintellix) already works by raising serotonin in your brain to lift your mood. There's a theory that fermented wheat germ extract might nudge serotonin levels up too. If you put the two together, you could in theory get a little too much serotonin, which can cause things like nausea, headache, jitteriness, sweating, fast heartbeat, or trouble sleeping.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. The concern comes only from animal studies, not from people, so it's mostly theoretical. I'm not saying avoid it, just don't start the supplement on your own. Since you're already managing depression, run it by your oncologist, pharmacist, or prescriber first so someone can keep an eye on you.
