Here's the gist for Aristada (aripiprazole lauroxil), which is a long-acting injection you get from your provider every few weeks. The concern on file is mostly theoretical and comes from animal studies. In those studies, fermented wheat germ extract nudged serotonin levels up in the brain. Aripiprazole can also affect serotonin signaling, so the worry is that stacking the two might add to serotonin-related effects.

In real life, signs to keep an eye on would be things like agitation, restlessness, a racing heart, sweating, shakiness, or feeling unusually keyed up. I want to be honest though: this is weak, early evidence, not something seen clearly in people. Please don't change your injection or stop your supplement on your own. Just give your pharmacist or prescriber a heads-up so they can weigh in.
