Goji + Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Enanthate brand name: Xyosted.
Goji has a moderate interaction with Testosterone Enanthate. Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP3A4 and reduce metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Enanthate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Goji interacts with.
In vitro research shows that goji berry juice inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP3A4 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with goji and your testosterone injection. Your body uses a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break down testosterone. In lab dish studies, goji berry juice seemed to slow that enzyme down a bit. If that held true in real people, it could let testosterone build up slightly, which in theory might nudge up side effects like acne, oily skin, mood swings, fluid retention, or changes in your blood counts.
Now, the honest part: this has only been seen in test tubes, never reported in actual patients, so I wouldn't lose sleep over eating goji berries as a food. Concentrated goji extracts are a bigger question mark. If you want to use them regularly, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up so they can keep an eye on your labs.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Testosterone Enanthate page
“Beer and wine both carry major ratings on this list, because heavy alcohol use can compound the strain testosterone enanthate (Xyosted) already places on the liver. That liver theme runs through 38 of the 184 ingredients on file, Siberian cocklebur among them, and with six interactions rated major overall, this page deserves genuine ca…”

About Goji
What is Goji?
- General antioxidant support
- Eye health
- Immune support
- Anti-aging and well-being
- Blood sugar support
Goji berries are a nutritious fruit rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and plant polysaccharides, and they are safe for most people as a food. While they are popular for eye health, immune support, and general wellness, strong human evidence for most health claims is limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using concentrated goji supplements, especially if you take medications or are pregnant.
About Testosterone Injection
What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand name: Xyosted
Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
