Bacopa + Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Enanthate brand name: Xyosted.
Bacopa has a moderate interaction with Testosterone Enanthate. Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Enanthate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.
Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP3A4 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and competitively inhibit CYP3A4, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: your body uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help process testosterone, and bacopa might slow that enzyme down a little. In theory, that could let testosterone levels creep up slightly, which might mean more of the usual effects like acne, oily skin, mood swings, fluid retention, or a higher red blood cell count.
But I want to keep this in perspective. This concern comes only from lab and test-tube studies, and even those disagree with each other. Some show a mild blocking effect, others show essentially none. Testosterone enanthate is not a prodrug, so it doesn't need this enzyme to work. There's no solid real-world evidence this combo causes problems, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor, especially since they already monitor your testosterone levels with bloodwork.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Testosterone Enanthate page
“Beer and wine both carry major ratings on this list, because heavy alcohol use can compound the strain testosterone enanthate (Xyosted) already places on the liver. That liver theme runs through 38 of the 184 ingredients on file, Siberian cocklebur among them, and with six interactions rated major overall, this page deserves genuine ca…”

About Bacopa
What is Bacopa?
- Memory and cognitive support
- Anxiety and stress
- ADHD symptoms
- Age-related memory decline
- General brain health
Bacopa is an Ayurvedic herb most often used for memory and thinking. Some small studies suggest it may modestly help memory when taken regularly for several weeks, but the evidence is limited and quality varies. It is generally well tolerated but can cause stomach upset, and it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to a lack of safety data.
About Testosterone Injection
What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand name: Xyosted
Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
