Flurbiprofen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
Research on the effect of bacopa extracts on CYP2C9 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and non-competitively inhibit CYP2C9, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.

Here's the gist for flurbiprofen and bacopa. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP2C9 to clear flurbiprofen out of your system. In test-tube studies, bacopa may slow that enzyme down a bit. If it did, flurbiprofen could linger longer and build up, which in theory could nudge up the usual NSAID side effects like stomach irritation, heartburn, fluid retention, or higher blood pressure.

The honest part: this comes only from lab and animal research, and even those studies disagree on whether it matters in people. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you take flurbiprofen regularly and want to add bacopa, run it past your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you have stomach or kidney concerns.

Bacopa is an Ayurvedic herb most often used for memory and thinking. Flurbiprofen tablets (sold as Flurbiprofen and Lurbiro) are used to relieve the pain, swelling, and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Flurbiprofen Sodium eye drops are a separate product used during eye surgery — specifically to keep the pupil from constricting (getting smaller) while the procedure is underway. This use applies only to the ophthalmic (eye drop) form.
