Aspirin, Omeprazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and non-competitively inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. It is not known whether this is clinically significant.

This Yosprala combo pairs aspirin with omeprazole. The omeprazole half is the part that matters here. Your liver clears omeprazole partly through an enzyme called CYP2C19, and lab studies hint that bacopa might slow that enzyme down a little. In theory, that could let omeprazole build up slightly, which might mean a touch more of its usual side effects, like headache, gas, or an upset stomach. Aspirin itself isn't really affected by this pathway.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern from test-tube research only, not from real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you take bacopa regularly and notice anything new, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

Here's the gist with your Yosprala (the aspirin plus omeprazole combo). One of bacopa's possible effects, seen only in lab dish studies so far, is that it might slow down a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. That enzyme helps process part of this medication. If it's slowed, the medicine could linger a bit longer than usual.

What might that look like in real life? Possibly a touch more of aspirin's usual issues, like stomach irritation, heartburn, or easier bruising and bleeding. I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical and the lab evidence even disagrees with itself, so it may not matter at all in your body. Still, since aspirin already affects bleeding, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor before adding bacopa.

Here's the short version on combining bacopa with your aspirin/omeprazole (Yosprala). The concern on file is that bacopa might slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which helps process certain medicines. If that enzyme is blocked, a drug it handles could build up a bit and cause more side effects. For the omeprazole part, that could mean a little more of the drug hanging around, though omeprazole leans more on a different enzyme (CYP2C19). The aspirin piece isn't really cleared this way.

Bacopa is an Ayurvedic herb most often used for memory and thinking.
