Bupivacaine, Meloxicam falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
Research on the effect of bacopa extracts on CYP2C9 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and non-competitively inhibit CYP2C9, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.

Zynrelef combines two medicines placed near a surgical wound: bupivacaine (a numbing agent) and meloxicam (an anti-inflammatory). The meloxicam part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9, and that is where bacopa comes in. In lab dish studies, bacopa might slow that enzyme down a bit, which in theory could let meloxicam linger longer in the body and nudge up its side effects, things like stomach upset, heartburn, or fluid retention.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: it's weak and conflicting, coming only from test-tube work, not from people. So this is more of a theoretical caution than a real-world alarm. Since Zynrelef is given once at the time of surgery, just let your surgical team know about any supplements you take.
