Goji + Dapagliflozin
Dapagliflozin brand name: Farxiga.
Goji has a minor interaction with Dapagliflozin. Theoretically, concomitant use of goji fruit polysaccharides or goji root bark with antidiabetes drugs might have additive effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Dapagliflozin
Dapagliflozin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Goji interacts with.
Animal and in vitro research show that goji root bark and fruit polysaccharides might have hypoglycemic effects. However, clinical research has only shown that taking goji fruit polysaccharides with or without antidiabetes drugs modestly reduces postprandial glucose when compared with control, with no reports of hypoglycemia.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: goji berries may gently nudge your blood sugar downward on their own. Since dapagliflozin (Farxiga) already works to lower your glucose by helping you flush extra sugar out through your urine, pairing the two could add up to a slightly bigger blood-sugar-lowering effect. This isn't about goji changing how Farxiga is broken down, it's just two things pushing in the same direction.
Realistically, the evidence here is thin. The human studies showed only a small dip in after-meal sugar and no reports of true low blood sugar, and Farxiga by itself rarely causes hypoglycemia. Enjoying goji as a food is very unlikely to be a problem. If you use concentrated goji supplements, just keep an eye on your readings and check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

- General antioxidant support
- Eye health
- Immune support

- Blood sugar support
Goji berries are a nutritious fruit rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and plant polysaccharides, and they are safe for most people as a food. About Dapagliflozin

Dapagliflozin Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Dapagliflozin as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Goji — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
