Goji + Nortriptyline
Nortriptyline brand names: Pamelor, Nortriptyline, Aventyl, Allegron.
Goji has a moderate interaction with Nortriptyline. Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP2D6 and reduce metabolism of CYP2D6 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Nortriptyline
Nortriptyline falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Goji interacts with.
In vitro research shows that goji berry juice inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP2D6 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2D6 to break down nortriptyline and clear it out. Lab studies suggest goji berry may slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened in real life, nortriptyline could build up in your system, and you might notice more of its usual side effects, things like dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness, blurry vision, dizziness when standing, or a faster heartbeat.
Now, the honest part: this is only based on test-tube research, not actual people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Eating goji berries as a food is unlikely to cause trouble. Concentrated goji supplements are the bigger question mark. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before adding them.

Nortriptyline Is Linked to Lower Levels of 3 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Nortriptyline as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Goji — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
