IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Sirolimus (albumin bound)
Sirolimus (albumin bound) falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Ipriflavone interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to know about pairing ipriflavone with Fyarro (albumin-bound sirolimus). Sirolimus is already a powerful drug that quiets down your immune system as part of its job fighting your tumor. Ipriflavone, while mostly studied for bone health, has been shown in some people to lower white blood cell counts (specifically lymphocytes). So the worry here isn't about sirolimus levels going up or down. It's that both can dampen immune defenses, and stacking them may leave you more open to infections.
Because sirolimus can already cause low blood counts and infection risk on its own, adding ipriflavone may add to that. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Loop in your oncology team or pharmacist first, since they're already watching your bloodwork closely.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Sirolimus (albumin bound) page
“Fyarro, the albumin-bound form of sirolimus used to treat advanced malignant PEComa, a rare cancer, is a medication I would guard carefully from supplement interference, and the 171 ingredients on this page show why. Most of them (121 through the CYP3A4 enzyme, 37 through the P-glycoprotein transporter) can shift how much sirolimus act…”

About Ipriflavone
What is Ipriflavone?
- Bone density and osteoporosis
- Postmenopausal bone loss
- Athletic performance
- Tinnitus related to bone disorders
Ipriflavone is a synthetic isoflavone studied mainly for bone health and osteoporosis, but high-quality research has not shown that it reliably prevents fractures or builds strong bone. Because it can lower white blood cell counts in some people and its long-term safety is not well established, talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
