Here's the simple version. Meprozine and Mepergan combine a pain reliever (meperidine) with promethazine, and both already make you sleepy. The concern with jackfruit is that its seeds may add to that drowsy effect on top of your medicine. So the worry isn't about how your body breaks the drug down, it's just an additive sedation issue, meaning more grogginess, dizziness, slowed breathing, or feeling foggy than usual.

Now, the honest part: this is mostly theoretical, based on animal studies, not people. Enjoying jackfruit as a fruit is very unlikely to cause trouble. Concentrated seed products are the bigger question mark. If you use those, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, especially since this medicine is already strongly sedating.
