Lesinurad, Allopurinol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Limonene interacts with.

There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9), as well causing its induction. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for a decrease in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9 in patients taking limonene. Some drugs metabolized by CYP2C9 include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as diclofenac (Cataflam, Voltaren), ibuprofen (Motrin), meloxicam (Mobic), and piroxicam (Feldene); celecoxib (Celebrex); amitriptyline (Elavil); warfarin (Coumadin); glipizide (Glucotrol); losartan (Cozaar); and others.

Duzallo combines two gout medicines, and the part that matters here is lesinurad, which your body partly clears using a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. Limonene, the oil from citrus peel, has shown in lab and animal work that it might speed up (induce) that same enzyme. If that happened in people, your body could clear lesinurad a bit faster, which in theory could make it slightly less effective at lowering uric acid, possibly leading to more gout flares over time.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it comes from test-tube and animal studies, not real patients, so it's far from proven. Everyday citrus in food is very unlikely to matter. If you're thinking about concentrated limonene supplements, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
