Limonene + Imipramine
Imipramine brand names: Tofranil, Tofranil PM.
Limonene has a moderate interaction with Imipramine. There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9), as well causing its induction.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Imipramine
Imipramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Limonene interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea with imipramine (Tofranil) and limonene. Your liver uses a set of enzymes, including one called CYP2C9, to clear imipramine out of your system. Early lab and animal research hints that concentrated limonene may speed up that enzyme. If it did, your body could break down imipramine a little faster, which might lower its levels and make it work less well. For someone relying on it for depression, that could mean symptoms creeping back; for a child using it for bedwetting, less benefit.
I want to be honest, though: this has not been seen in people, and it's only theoretical right now. The small amount of limonene in oranges or lemons isn't a worry. If you're considering a concentrated supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Imipramine page
“Imipramine (Tofranil) is an older tricyclic antidepressant, and the supplements on this page deserve real scrutiny before you add one. Most of the list acts on the liver enzymes that process the drug, so an ingredient can quietly raise or lower imipramine levels: grapefruit pushes them up, while St.”

Imipramine Is Linked to Lower Levels of 3 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Imipramine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Limonene — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
