Bromfenac Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Sweet Woodruff interacts with.

Sweet woodruff contains coumarin and coumarin derivatives. However, the levels of coumarin found in sweet woodruff are so low that clinically relevant effects are doubtful. Until more is known, use with caution.

Here's the practical picture: sweet woodruff naturally contains coumarin, a compound that can mildly thin the blood. Bromfenac is an NSAID, and even though you put it in your eye, NSAIDs can nudge bleeding risk a little too. So in theory, pairing them could add up and make bruising or minor bleeding slightly more likely.

That said, I want to be honest with you. This is a theoretical concern only, based on how these substances behave, not on real patient cases. The coumarin in sweet woodruff is present in such tiny amounts that a meaningful effect is doubtful, especially since bromfenac eye drops barely reach your bloodstream. If you take blood thinners or use this herb regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor to be safe.
