This combination product contains codeine, which is an opioid that calms the brain and can make you drowsy. Wild lettuce is traditionally used as a mild sedative, so the concern here is simple: putting two calming things together can add up. You might feel sleepier, more lightheaded, or have slower breathing than you would expect from the codeine alone.

To be honest, this is a theoretical caution based on how wild lettuce seems to work, not on strong human studies, so the real-world effect is uncertain. Still, I'd play it safe.
