Formula
- Arjuna is found in the lower Himalayas, Bihar, Bengal Southern India and Ceylon. It is a unique herb that helps maintain a healthy heart and reduces the effects of stress and nervousness. Arjuna promotes effective cardiac functioning and assists in maintaining already healthy blood pressure levels. Arjuna has been the herb of choice in Ayurveda for cardiovascular health. Arjuna's ability to suppress the blood's absorption of lipids indicates that it has cholesterol-regulating properties. Its principle constituents are L-sitosterol, ellagic acid and arjunic acid. Rauwolfia is a climbing shrub that is found in the tropical Himalayas as well as other tropical locales. Its alkaloids belong to the the general class of medicines known to support already healthy blood pressure levels. Convolvulus, also known as ipomoea root, is native to the hotter parts of India. The roots are tonic, mucilaginous and have a bitter taste. It acts as a mild purgative. In addition to helping maintaining one's already healthy blood pressure levels. This herb is found in many Ayurvedic formulas. Tribulus Terrestris is common in sandy soil throughout India and Ceylon. The plant and its fruit are esteemed as cooling and tonic. Its action on the mucous membrane of the urinary tract closely resembles that of Buchu and Uva Ursi flowers.
