Erase Pro+ Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by PEScience
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Erase Pro+ against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Erase Pro+ contains three active ingredients. Indole-3-carbinol is a compound derived from cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli and cabbage) that your body processes as it breaks down estrogen.
KSM-66 is a standardized extract of ashwagandha, an herb traditionally used to support relaxation and stress response. Pine bark extract rounds out the formula, though we don't have detailed information on file about it.
The capsule itself contains inactive ingredients—gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, colorant (FD&C Blue #1), and titanium dioxide—that help form and preserve the supplement.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for indole-3-carbinol in the conditions we checked—breast cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical dysplasia, liver disease, and fibromyalgia—is insufficient to establish whether it works. KSM-66 (ashwagandha) is possibly effective for insomnia, anxiety, stress, and generalized anxiety disorder based on preliminary clinical research, though we don't yet have robust data for bipolar disorder.
We have no effectiveness ratings on file for pine bark extract.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Indole-3-carbinol seems to be well tolerated at food amounts, but supplement doses are less studied. The most common side effects reported are diarrhea, nausea, rash, tremor, dizziness, and unsteadiness—some of which appeared at higher doses or with overdose.
The safety data advises against use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Ashwagandha (KSM-66) is generally well tolerated short-term in healthy adults, though long-term safety data are limited.
Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, gastrointestinal upset, and vomiting—typically not occurring at normal doses. Rare serious effects include liver damage and, in one case report, intracranial bleeding.
The safety data advises against use during pregnancy (traditionally associated with miscarriage risk) and breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Erase Pro+, check with your pharmacist if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, warfarin, clopidogrel)—indole-3-carbinol may increase bleeding risk. Also double-check if you're on hormonal birth control or estrogen therapy, sedatives or benzodiazepines, blood pressure medications, diabetes drugs, thyroid hormone, immunosuppressants, or medications processed through CYP1A2.
Ashwagandha and indole-3-carbinol interact with these drug types at moderate severity.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Consider Erase Pro+ if you're looking for support with sleep, anxiety, or stress and don't take blood thinners, hormonal birth control, diabetes medications, blood pressure medications, sedatives, or immunosuppressants. If you take any prescription medication, especially thyroid hormone or hepatotoxic drugs (medications that can stress your liver), check with your pharmacist before starting—the interaction list is long and the risks vary by drug.
Pregnant or nursing? Skip this one; safety data don't support it.

Erase Pro+ by PEScience Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Erase Pro+ by PEScience contains ingredients with documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concern is indole-3-carbinol's moderate-severity interaction with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (like aspirin, warfarin, or clopidogrel). This ingredient may increase bleeding risk by interfering with how your blood clots.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Indole-3-carbinol also has moderate interactions with hormonal birth control and estrogen therapy—it may reduce their effectiveness. Additionally, it theoretically speeds up how your body metabolizes certain medications processed through a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, which could lower their levels in your bloodstream.
KSM-66 (ashwagandha) interacts with multiple drug categories. It may increase drowsiness when combined with sedatives, benzodiazepines (like diazepam or lorazepam), or other central nervous system depressants.
It also theoretically lowers blood pressure and blood sugar, so combining it with blood pressure medications or diabetes drugs could raise the risk of dangerously low levels. Additionally, it may reduce the effectiveness of immunosuppressants and could amplify thyroid hormone effects.
We could not check pine bark extract for interactions. Altogether, these interactions span 1,413 individual medications.
Run your current prescriptions and over-the-counter medications through the interaction checker on this page before starting.

KSM-66
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
There is preliminary clinical evidence suggesting that ashwagandha might lower blood glucose levels. Theoretically, ashwagandha might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research suggests that ashwagandha might lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Theoretically, ashwagandha might have additive effects when used with antihypertensive drugs and increase the risk of hypotension.
Benzodiazepines
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha might increase the sedative effects of benzodiazepines.
There is preliminary evidence that ashwagandha might have an additive effect with diazepam (Valium) and clonazepam (Klonopin). This may also occur with other benzodiazepines.
Cns Depressants
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha might increase the sedative effects of CNS depressants.
Ashwagandha seems to have sedative effects. Theoretically, this may potentiate the effects of barbiturates, other sedatives, and anxiolytics.
Hepatotoxic Drugs
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha with hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage.
Ashwagandha has been linked to cases of acute hepatitis, liver failure, hepatic encephalopathy, autoimmune hepatitis, the need for liver transplantation, and death due to liver failure.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, taking ashwagandha might decrease the effects of immunosuppressants.
Ashwagandha has demonstrated immunostimulant effects in humans. Animal research has shown that ashwagandha can attenuate the immunosuppression caused by cyclophosphamide.
Thyroid Hormone
Ashwagandha might increase the effects and adverse effects of thyroid hormone.
Concomitant use of ashwagandha with thyroid hormones may cause additive therapeutic and adverse effects. Preliminary clinical research and animal studies suggest that ashwagandha boosts thyroid hormone synthesis and secretion. In one clinical study, ashwagandha increased triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) levels by 41.5% and 19.6%, respectively, and reduced serum TSH levels by 17.4% from baseline in adults with subclinical hypothyroidism.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, ashwagandha might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that ashwagandha extract induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, ashwagandha might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that ashwagandha extract induces CYP3A4 enzymes.
Serotonergic Drugs
Some animal studies have reported that ashwagandha can enhance serotonergic transmission by altering certain serotonin (5-HT) receptors. However, there is no evidence to suggest that ashwagandha increases the risk of serotonin-related effects, and there have been no published case reports of serotonin syndrome when combined with other serotonergic drugs. Nevertheless, due to the lack of extensive studies on the matter and the fact that ashwagandha appears to affect serotonergic pathways, it would be prudent to exercise caution when combining it with drugs that affect serotonin. Pine Bark Extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, maritime pine bark extract might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
Clinical research suggests that maritime pine bark extract inhibits platelet aggregation. However, the clinical significance of this effect is unclear.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, maritime pine bark extract might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when used with antidiabetes drugs.
One clinical study shows that maritime pine bark extract decreases blood sugar in patients with diabetes being treated with antidiabetes agents. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, maritime pine bark extract might decrease the effectiveness of immunosuppressant therapy.
In vitro and animal research suggests that maritime pine bark extract has immunostimulant activity. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Indole-3-Carbinol
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, indole-3-carbinol might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
In vitro research shows that indole-3-carbinol inhibits platelet aggregation.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, indole-3-carbinol might increase the metabolism of CYP1A2 substrates and lower serum concentrations.
Animal research shows that indole-3-carbinol induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Estrogens
Indole-3-carbinol might interfere with the effects of estrogen therapy.
Preliminary clinical and in vitro evidence shows that indole-3-carbinol has antiestrogenic activity.
