Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Cabazitaxel
Cabazitaxel falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Adrafinil interacts with.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to weakly induce CYP3A4 activity.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for cabazitaxel (Jetvana). Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down this chemotherapy drug. When you take adrafinil, your liver turns it into modafinil, which can gently speed up that same enzyme. In theory, that faster clearance could pull cabazitaxel levels down a bit and make the treatment less effective at slowing your prostate cancer.
I'll be honest, this concern is theoretical and based on how the drugs work, not on real-world studies, so I don't want to overstate it. Still, with a serious cancer medicine you want full strength on board. Adrafinil also stresses the liver. Please loop in your oncology team or pharmacist before combining these.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Cabazitaxel page
“Cabazitaxel (Jetvana) is chemotherapy for advanced prostate cancer, and it leaves little room for error, so this list deserves real attention. All 121 supplements on it interact through a single pathway, CYP3A4, the liver enzyme that clears cabazitaxel from the body.”
