Here's the gist: perindopril (Aceon) is a blood pressure medicine, and Baikal skullcap may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. If you take both together, those effects could stack up. In plain terms, your pressure might dip a little lower than expected, which can leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or wobbly when you stand up quickly.

That said, I want to keep this in perspective. This concern comes only from lab and animal studies, not from people, so it's largely theoretical. We don't have solid human data showing it really happens. Still, if you decide to try this herb, it's worth checking your blood pressure at home and giving your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up first.

What Is Perindopril Used For?

Perindopril Erbumine tablets are used to treat essential hypertension (high blood pressure). They can be used alone or combined with other blood pressure medicines, particularly thiazide diuretics.

Perindopril Erbumine tablets are also used in adults with stable coronary artery disease to lower the risk of dying from a cardiovascular cause or having a nonfatal heart attack. They can be used alongside other standard coronary artery disease treatments such as antiplatelet, blood pressure, or cholesterol-lowering therapy.
