Here's the thing to watch with this combo: your cough and cold product already contains methscopolamine, which is itself an anticholinergic (it dries up secretions and calms the gut). Belladonna works the same way, since its main compounds (atropine and scopolamine) also block acetylcholine. So you'd essentially be stacking two anticholinergics on top of each other.

When that happens, the drying and slowing effects can pile up. Think dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, trouble urinating, a faster heartbeat, and feeling drowsy or foggy. This concern is based on how these drugs work rather than hard clinical studies, so it's more of a sensible caution than a proven danger. Still, belladonna can be genuinely toxic, so please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
