Here's the simple version: Vyvanse already revs up your nervous system to help with focus and impulse control. Black tea brings its own caffeine, which is also a stimulant. Stack the two together and you can essentially be doubling up on that 'wired' feeling. So you might notice a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, or a small bump in blood pressure.

This concern is based mostly on expert reasoning rather than hard studies, so don't panic. A single morning cup is unlikely to cause trouble for most people, but several strong cups or energy drinks on top of your dose is where it adds up. If you feel extra jittery or your heart races, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

It is not approved or recommended for weight loss, and its safety and effectiveness for treating obesity have not been established. It is not recommended in children under 6 years old.
