Caffeine + Cyamemazine
Cyamemazine brand name: Tercian.
Caffeine has a minor interaction with Cyamemazine. Theoretically, phenothiazines might increase the levels and adverse effects of caffeine.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
PHENOTHIAZINES
Why this applies to Cyamemazine
Cyamemazine falls under PHENOTHIAZINES — the group Caffeine interacts with.
Phenothiazines, including perazine, chlorpromazine, levomepromazine, and thioridazine, can reduce the metabolism of caffeine by inhibiting cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2).
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for Cyamemazine (Tercian), a phenothiazine medicine. It's not that the drug becomes more or less effective. Instead, this interaction runs the other direction: Cyamemazine may slow down how your body clears caffeine by blocking a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. So the caffeine itself can hang around longer and hit harder.
In real life that might mean more jitters, a racing or pounding heart, trouble sleeping, or feeling on edge from your usual coffee or energy drinks. Keep in mind this is theoretical, based only on lab studies, and rated minor, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it (no pun intended). If you notice caffeine bothering you more than before, just ease back on it and mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

What These Ratings Mean
Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.
- AHigh-quality meta-analysis (quantitative systematic review).
- BCase-control study.
- CConsensus.
- DAnecdotal evidence.

About Caffeine
What is Caffeine?
- Mental alertness and reducing fatigue
- Improving athletic performance
- Headache and migraine relief
- Boosting focus and concentration
- Weight loss aid
Caffeine is a natural stimulant found in coffee, tea, and many other plants and products. In moderate amounts it can boost alertness and reduce tiredness for most healthy adults, but too much can cause jitteriness, a racing heart, and sleep problems. Pregnant women and people with heart conditions or anxiety should be especially careful and check with a doctor or pharmacist.
