Here's the simple version: the estrogen part of Beyaz (ethinyl estradiol) can slow down how your body clears caffeine. Your liver uses an enzyme to break caffeine down, and estrogen partly blocks it. So the caffeine you drink may stick around longer and hit a little harder than it would otherwise.

In real life that might mean more of the usual caffeine effects, like feeling jittery, a racing or pounding heart, trouble sleeping, or feeling on edge. This doesn't make your birth control less effective, and it doesn't hurt the pill. If you notice caffeine bothering you more than it used to, simply easing back on coffee, tea, or energy drinks usually settles things. Chat with your pharmacist if you're unsure.
