Here's the gist with Kazano, which is two diabetes medicines (alogliptin plus metformin) in one pill. Both of those lower your blood sugar. The dream herb, Calea zacatechichi, has been shown in animal studies to also nudge blood sugar downward. So the worry is simply about stacking two sugar-lowering effects on top of each other, which could in theory tip you into low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical concern based on lab pharmacology, not proven in people, and it's rated as a minor interaction. Still, if you notice shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or confusion, those can be signs your sugar dropped too far. If you'd like to try the herb, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your readings.
