Sotalol Hydrochloride falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the heart of it: sotalol already works by affecting your heart's electrical timing, and one of its known risks is stretching out the QT interval on an ECG. Cesium does the very same thing. Stacking two QT-prolongers together raises the chance of a dangerous rhythm called torsades de pointes, which can lead to fainting, cardiac arrest, or worse.

Sotalol is not a prodrug here, so this isn't about cesium speeding up or slowing down how your body clears it. It's an additive effect on your heart rhythm. Honestly, cesium chloride has no proven benefit and has caused deaths on its own, so I'd steer clear of it entirely. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before adding any supplement while you're on sotalol.
