Here's the gist: inhaled insulin (Exubera) already works hard to bring your blood sugar down. Corydalis yanhusuo contains compounds, including berberine, that may have a mild blood sugar lowering effect of their own. Stack the two together and, in theory, your numbers could dip lower than expected, raising the chance of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

I want to be honest about the strength of this concern. It's theoretical, based on how these compounds behave, not on solid human studies. So don't panic, but do loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and keep an eye on your readings if you do.
