Troxyca ER pairs oxycodone, a strong opioid pain reliever, with naltrexone, which is sealed inside to discourage misuse. When taken as directed, the oxycodone does the work, and it already slows the brain and breathing on its own. The concern here is mostly about that calming, sedating side.

Corydalis yanhusuo may have its own mild sedative effects, at least based on lab and animal studies. So stacking it on top of oxycodone could, in theory, add to the drowsiness. That might mean feeling extra sleepy, foggy, dizzy, or in the worst case, slower breathing. This is a theoretical caution, not something proven in people. Still, since opioids are serious, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. In vitro research and preliminary clinical evidence show that berberine can inhibit CYP2D6. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also inhibit CYP2D6.

Here's the thing with Troxyca ER (oxycodone combined with naltrexone): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to help process oxycodone. Corydalis yanhusuo may gently slow that enzyme down, at least in theory. If oxycodone clears a bit more slowly, you could feel its opioid effects more strongly, things like extra drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, nausea, or slowed breathing in larger amounts.

I want to be honest with you, though. This warning comes from lab and early research, not solid human studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Still, with an opioid, I'd rather you play it safe. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two, and never adjust your dose on your own.
