Clomipramine falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Datura Wrightii interacts with.

Datura wrightii contains atropine and scopolamine, as well as other tropane alkaloids with anticholinergic activity. Concomitant use of Datura wrightii with anticholinergic drugs might increase anticholinergic effects and adverse effects. Some anticholinergic drugs include amantadine, atropine, belladonna alkaloids, phenothiazines, scopolamine, and tricyclic antidepressants.

Here's the simple version: clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant, and on its own it already carries strong anticholinergic activity. That's why people on it often deal with dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, trouble emptying the bladder, a faster heartbeat, and sometimes confusion. Datura wrightii is loaded with the same kind of chemicals (atropine, scopolamine, hyoscyamine), so stacking the two would basically pile one anticholinergic load on top of another.

That combination could make all those side effects worse, and in a serious case lead to dangerous overheating, racing heart, or delirium. This concern is based on how these substances work rather than formal studies, but honestly the bigger issue is that Datura wrightii is genuinely poisonous and not safe to take at all. Please don't use it, and talk with your pharmacist or doctor about anything you're considering alongside clomipramine.
