Here's the simple version. Demecarium (Humorsol) is an eye drop that works by boosting acetylcholine activity to help drain fluid and lower eye pressure in glaucoma. Deanol (DMAE) is thought to nudge acetylcholine levels upward too. So on paper, putting the two together could push in the same direction and slightly amplify cholinergic effects.

What might that look like? Things like extra eye watering, blurry or dim vision, brow ache, or in larger amounts body-wide signs such as sweating, drooling, stomach cramps, or a slow heartbeat. I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based on how each works, not something well documented, and it's rated minor and unlikely. Still, before pairing them, please run it by your pharmacist or eye doctor.
