Here is the situation with these two. Cangrelor is a powerful IV antiplatelet medicine given in the hospital, usually during a procedure to open blocked heart arteries (a stent placement). It works fast to keep platelets from clumping and forming clots. DHEA may, on its own, also make platelets a little less sticky, based mostly on lab and limited human research.

So in theory, stacking DHEA on top of Cangrelor could add to the blood-thinning effect and raise the chance of bleeding or bruising. Honestly though, this is a theoretical concern, and Cangrelor is given in a closely monitored hospital setting where your care team is already watching for bleeding. If you take DHEA regularly, just mention it to your doctor or pharmacist beforehand so they have the full picture.
