Why this applies to Paracetamol
Paracetamol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Diindolylmethane interacts with.
In vitro evidence suggests that diindolylmethane can induce CYP1A2. Theoretically, it might increase metabolism of CYP1A2 substrates and lower serum concentrations. This interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the short version: this is a very theoretical interaction, and it comes only from test-tube research, not from real people. The idea is that DIM may speed up an enzyme called CYP1A2, which is one of the pathways your liver uses to process paracetamol (Panadol). If that happened, your body could clear the medicine a bit faster, which might make it slightly less effective for your pain or fever.
In practice, I wouldn't lose sleep over this. The effect has never actually been seen in humans, and it's rated as minor and unlikely. If you take DIM regularly and notice your usual paracetamol dose isn't working as well, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor rather than just taking extra on your own.

What Is Acetaminophen Injection Used For?
Brand name: Panadol
Acetaminophen Injection is given intravenously (through a vein) to manage mild to moderate pain, or moderate to severe pain when used together with opioid pain medicines, in adults and children 2 years and older. It is also used to reduce fever in adults and pediatric patients of all ages, including premature newborns born at 32 weeks gestational age or later.
For children under 2 years old, Acetaminophen Injection is approved for fever reduction, but its effectiveness for pain relief in that age group has not been established.
