Here's the gist with dexamfetamine. This medication already nudges up the brain chemicals that affect mood, focus, and alertness, and serotonin is part of that picture. Animal studies hint that fermented wheat germ extract may also raise serotonin in the brain. So the worry is that stacking the two could, in theory, push serotonin too high.

If that happened, you might notice things like a racing heart, jitteriness, sweating, agitation, shivering, or feeling overheated. I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from lab and animal research, not human studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Since you're already taking a stimulant, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before adding this supplement.
