Here's the simple version: both of these things slow your brain and breathing down, so stacking them is like pressing two brakes at once. Daridorexant (Quviviq) is a sleep medicine that already makes you drowsy by quieting the brain's wake signals. GHB is a strong nervous system depressant on its own. Put them together and the sedation can pile up fast.

That means more than just feeling extra sleepy. You could see heavy grogginess, confusion, trouble staying awake, and in a worst case, dangerously slow or shallow breathing. This pairing is rated as a major interaction, and I'd treat it as something to avoid. The evidence here is mostly anecdotal, but the risk is serious enough that I wouldn't gamble. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing anything like this.

GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) is a powerful central nervous system depressant that is NOT a safe dietary supplement. In the U.S. it is a controlled substance, and only a tightly regulated prescription form (sodium oxybate) is legal for narcolepsy. Non-prescription GHB can cause coma, breathing failure, and death, and it is also a known 'date-rape' drug — it should not be taken outside of medical supervision.
