Goji + Quinapril
Quinapril brand names: Accupril, Accupro.
Goji has a moderate interaction with Quinapril. Theoretically, concomitant use of goji root bark, but not goji fruit, with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Quinapril
Quinapril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Goji interacts with.
Animal and in vitro research suggest that goji root bark has hypotensive effects. However, goji fruit juice does not appear to reduce systolic or diastolic blood pressure in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for Quinapril, your ACE inhibitor for blood pressure: the concern isn't goji fruit, it's goji root bark, which is a different part of the plant. In lab and animal studies, the root bark appeared to lower blood pressure on its own. So in theory, stacking it on top of quinapril could push your blood pressure down a little more than expected, with symptoms like lightheadedness, dizziness when you stand up, or feeling worn out.
The reassuring part: this is theoretical, and human studies on goji fruit juice showed no real effect on blood pressure. So eating goji berries or sipping the juice is very unlikely to cause trouble. If you're thinking about a concentrated root bark product, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Quinapril page
“Quinapril (Accupril) lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, and that is where most of the 166 supplements and herbs on this list collide with it. The bulk either push its blood-pressure-lowering effect too far or work against it, and with six entries rated major, this page deserves a careful read, not a skim.”

About Goji
What is Goji?
- General antioxidant support
- Eye health
- Immune support
- Anti-aging and well-being
- Blood sugar support
Goji berries are a nutritious fruit rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and plant polysaccharides, and they are safe for most people as a food. While they are popular for eye health, immune support, and general wellness, strong human evidence for most health claims is limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using concentrated goji supplements, especially if you take medications or are pregnant.
About Quinapril
What Is Quinapril Used For?
Brand names: Accupril, Accupro
Quinapril tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack. Quinapril may be used alone or combined with a thiazide diuretic (water pill) when one medication isn't enough.
Quinapril tablets are also used in the management of heart failure as an add-on therapy alongside other standard treatments such as diuretics and/or digitalis.

Quinapril Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Quinapril as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Goji — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
