Good news first: this is a pretty mild concern. Ertugliflozin (Steglatro) works in your kidneys to flush extra sugar out in your urine, and green tea doesn't really change how your body breaks the drug down. So there's no need to worry about the medicine building up or wearing off.

The theory here is just that green tea (and the caffeine in it) might nudge your blood sugar slightly up or down. Honestly, the studies disagree and the effect is small. A few cups of tea is unlikely to cause trouble. If you take concentrated green tea extract or notice symptoms like feeling shaky, dizzy, or unusually thirsty, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor and keep an eye on your glucose readings.
