Dr. Brian Staiger explains PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist

Percodan combines two medicines, and the part that matters here is the aspirin. Aspirin already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. The concern is that indole-3-carbinol may do something similar. In lab dish studies (not in actual people yet), I3C also slowed platelet clumping. Stack that on top of aspirin's blood-thinning effect, and in theory you could bruise or bleed a little more easily, see longer bleeding from small cuts, or notice nosebleeds.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and only based on test-tube work, so the real-world risk is likely small. Food amounts of broccoli or cabbage are not a worry. Before adding a concentrated I3C supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor.
