Here's the simple version for the Flector or Licart patch. Diclofenac is an NSAID, and like other drugs in that family it can make it a little harder for your blood to clot and can irritate your stomach lining over time. Indole-3-carbinol, the broccoli-derived supplement, has shown in lab dish studies only that it may slow down platelets (the cells that help form clots). So the concern is that stacking the two could nudge your bleeding risk up a bit.

I want to be honest: this is theoretical and based on test-tube data, not real patients, so it's likely a minor concern for most folks. Still, watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, or dark stools, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
