This combination pill already has two ingredients that can make you sleepy: butalbital (a barbiturate) and codeine (an opioid). The concern here is simple addition. Animal studies suggest jackfruit seeds may have a mild sedating effect, so pairing concentrated jackfruit seed products with this medicine could, in theory, leave you more drowsy, foggy, dizzy, or slow to react than usual.

I want to be honest about the evidence though: this is based only on lab and animal research, not human studies, so it's a soft, theoretical worry. Eating jackfruit as a regular food is very unlikely to cause a problem. If you're thinking about a concentrated jackfruit seed supplement, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, and never adjust your medication on your own.
