Acetylsalicylic acid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit latex might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Jackfruit latex, which is the sap from jackfruit bark, contains chemicals that might increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro research shows that jackfruit latex contains a glycoprotein constituent that prolongs the activated partial thrombin time (aPTT) and reduces the activity of blood coagulation factors XIa and alpha-XIIa. Jackfruit latex also contains a protease constituent that has been shown to have fibrinolytic activity in vitro. Other parts of jackfruit, including the fruit and leaves, have not been shown to contain chemicals with fibrinolytic and anticoagulant activity.

Here's the gist: aspirin already thins the blood a bit by making your platelets less sticky, which is why it can cause bruising, stomach upset, or bleeding that's slow to stop. The concern on file is that jackfruit latex, the sticky sap from the bark, contains compounds that may also interfere with normal clotting. Stack the two together and, in theory, you could bleed a little more easily.

The honest part: this is only a lab-based, theoretical worry. The fruit you'd actually eat hasn't shown this effect, so enjoying jackfruit as a food is not the issue. Concentrated latex or bark products are a different story. If you're considering one of those while on aspirin, run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.
