Betrixaban falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit latex might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Jackfruit latex, which is the sap from jackfruit bark, contains chemicals that might increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro research shows that jackfruit latex contains a glycoprotein constituent that prolongs the activated partial thrombin time (aPTT) and reduces the activity of blood coagulation factors XIa and alpha-XIIa. Jackfruit latex also contains a protease constituent that has been shown to have fibrinolytic activity in vitro. Other parts of jackfruit, including the fruit and leaves, have not been shown to contain chemicals with fibrinolytic and anticoagulant activity.

Here's the short version: betrixaban (Bevyxxa) is already a blood thinner, so it lowers your blood's ability to clot. The concern on file is that jackfruit latex (the sticky sap from the bark, not the fruit you eat) contains compounds that, in lab studies, also slowed clotting and broke down clots. Stacking those two together could theoretically nudge your bleeding risk higher, showing up as easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or blood in your urine or stool.

I want to keep this in perspective. This is based only on test-tube research, and the everyday jackfruit you eat as food has not shown this effect. So enjoying jackfruit as a fruit is very different from using a concentrated latex product. Before trying any jackfruit supplement, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor.
